Though Ravana was oblivious of her madness and love, she was completely focused. She had to impress the king somehow or the other. This was the day of luck she got by chance and she didn’t want to miss making the most of it. She wanted to capture every moment of seeing Ravana in her eyes and heart. She wanted to be able to meet his eyes at least once in her lifetime. She knew another chance would be almost impossible; unless she manages to capture his attention with her talent!

 Her heartbeats got faster and louder as someone declared that the king was expected at any moment.  There was pin-drop silence in a moment and Ravana, the most handsome and manly figure Mahiti had ever seen, entered the courtyard greeting his citizens. Who said Ravana was bad? Who said Ravana was a demon? Mahiti would never agree that Ravana was the villain here. She was completely lost! She was seeing Ravana with her eyes wide open.

 She couldn’t control the tears that rained down. She was unstoppable! It was her love that overflowed through her eyes. But only she knew it! Mahiti’s father was dumbstruck at what he was seeing. It was at this moment that he realized what Mahiti was going through. Luckily, he managed to wake Mahiti from her trance-like stature, before someone could notice.
