Aman Sehrawat beat Darian Toi Cruz to win the bronze medal.
Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat was able to bring glory to wrestling in India as he won the bronze medal in the men’s 57kg freestyle event. He was able to maul down his opponent, Darian Toi Cruz from Puerto Rico to take the win in dominating fashion.
The fellow Olympic bronze medal winner, Bajrang Punia took to his official account on X, lauding Aman for his stellar achievement at the Parisian Games. His post read,”Well done Aman Sehrawat bhai! Congratulations to this great wrestler for the bronze medal. Aman, you played well brother. Indian wrestling has never returned empty-handed from the Olympics (since 2008)”.
The London 2012, bronze medallist, Yogeshwar Dutt also took his official account on X to congratulate Aman Sehrawat on his massive achievement.
His post read, “You have maintained the supremacy of Indian wrestling by winning the bronze medal. Hearty congratulations to you. Winning a medal in wrestling for the 5th consecutive Olympics is a proud moment for the country”.
The popular Bollywood actor, Ritesh Deshmukh also congratulated Aman for his stellar bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Abhinav Bindra, an Olympic gold medalist took to social media where he congratulated Aman Sehrawat for winning the bronze medal. He suggested that his achievement is a reflection of his relentless pursuit of excellence.
His post read, “Congratulations Aman! Your determination on the mat, your focus, and the way you carry yourself with humility and grace—these are the qualities that make a true champion. Securing bronze in Paris is a huge achievement, but more than that, it’s a reflection of your relentless pursuit of excellence. I’m incredibly proud of you, and I know you’ve made the entire nation proud too. Keep shining, champ!”
The former number one ranked pistol shooter, Heena Sidhu also congratulated the Indian wrestler for his massive achievement which has brought immense pride to the nation.
She wrote,” Wrestling delivers again. This makes Aman Sehrawat the youngest-ever Indian Olympic medalist at 21 years old. Congratulations to AmanSehrawat for flawless wrestling. Aman, you kept your cool and focused till the very last second. India is proud of your much-deserved victory”.
The 2008 Olympic bronze medal-winner, Vijender Singh also congratulated Aman Sehrawat for his massive achievement. He lauded the fact that he managed to secure a medal in his first appearance at the Olympics.

ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತ ಅಭಿನವ್ ಬಿಂದ್ರಾ ಅವರು ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಮನ್ ಸೆಹ್ರಾವತ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಯು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯ ನಿರಂತರ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
